Ticket redemption kiosks

Ticket redemption kiosks that take payouts off your counter.

Every RedPlum kiosk is a ticket redemption kiosk and a cash redemption kiosk in one. It reads the encrypted ticket a skill game machine prints, checks it hasn't already been paid, and dispenses the cash, with no staff involved. There are six models, from the countertop C200 to the 7,200-bill EX450, and the newest is the F600-V.

The F600-V: a faster payout in a 13.78-inch footprint.

The F600-V pays out at 3.2 bills a second, 60% faster than the F600, from a cabinet only 13.78 inches wide. It fits the corner or aisle gap a wider kiosk can't use, and it takes three or four cassettes, depending on how much cash the room needs.

Why a kiosk

What a ticket redemption machine takes off your staff.

It works like slot machine ticket redemption in a casino, sized for a store, bar or truck stop. Of all the ticket redemption solutions, a skill game kiosk is the one that needs nobody behind the counter.

Payouts leave the counter

Players redeem their own tickets at the cash out kiosk, so staff stop counting cash for every win and the line at the register stays short.

Every ticket is paid once

The kiosk checks each encrypted ticket before any cash comes out, and it rejects copies and tickets that have already been paid.

Cash you can account for

Every payout lands in RedPlum Connect, with daily accounting reports and automated email alerts, so a count that's off is found the same day.

Refill on your schedule

Capacity runs from 1,500 to 7,200 bills. Size the kiosk to how often you want to restock, not the other way round.

How a payout works

From the cabinet's ticket to cash in hand.

The kiosk is the step where a win becomes cash. Here's how ticket-to-cash redemption works, and where it sits in the RedPlum ecosystem.

  1. 01Cabinet Prints the ticket

Skill game cash out starts at the cabinet: every Solaris Game Cabinet prints an encrypted QR ticket when the player ends a session.

    Skill game machines
  2. 02Kiosk Checks it

The kiosk scans the code and confirms the ticket is genuine and unpaid. Floor staff can do the same from a phone.

    RedPlum Validator
  3. 03Kiosk Pays it out

The bill dispenser pays out at up to 4 bills a second, and the ticket is marked paid. RedPlum Live tracks the cash left in every kiosk, so you know when to refill.

    RedPlum Live
  4. 04RedPlum Connect Reports on it

Every payout is in your reports, with alerts across every location you run.

    RedPlum Connect

In every model

Whichever kiosk you pick, it does this.

These features are standard across our skill game redemption systems, whichever size you choose.

Encrypted ticket check

Every ticket is validated before a payout. Reused and invalid tickets are refused.

Tickets from other machines

With the optional Pyramid Sentry, the kiosk also pays ticket-in, ticket-out (TITO) tickets from other machines that use Pyramid printers.

Optional Bill Breaker

Available as an add-on. Ask sales which models and configurations support it.

Built-in HD webcam

The camera records an image every time cash is dispensed, so a disputed payout can be checked. Nothing extra to mount or wire.

Ethernet and Wi-Fi

Wired where you have a port, wireless where you don't.

Reporting in RedPlum Connect

Real-time reports, daily accounting and automated email alerts for every kiosk you run.

Cash management

Know where the cash is, at every kiosk.

Our cash redemption solutions do the counting your staff used to do, and tell you when something needs attention, so a problem is caught before it costs you a shift's revenue.

Reconciliation and float

Every cash redemption kiosk has reconciliation and float management built in, so what went out matches what was paid, kiosk by kiosk.

Alerts to your inbox

When one of your cash redemption terminals runs low on cash or a ticket jams, automated email alerts go to one or more addresses, with daily accounting reports alongside.

An image of every payout

The cash redemption machine's built-in webcam records an image whenever cash is dispensed, an extra layer of protection against fraud.

Data for every location

Ticket volumes and redemption activity for each site, whether it's one store or a route across Texas, Florida, Virginia, Wisconsin and North Carolina, so you can see when each floor is busiest and plan refills around it.

FAQ

Questions operators ask about redemption kiosks.

Ticket redemption kiosk, ticket redemption machine or ticket redemption terminal: what's the difference?

None. They're three names for the same thing. Because it pays out in cash, you'll also hear it called a cash redemption kiosk, cash redemption machine or cash redemption terminal. At RedPlum it's the same six models, whatever you call them.

How does a ticket redemption kiosk work?

The player scans the ticket their skill game machine printed. The kiosk validates it, works out the payout, dispenses the cash and marks the ticket paid, so it can't be redeemed twice.

Is this the same as a casino ticket redemption machine?

It works the same way: scan a ticket, get cash. The difference is what it pays. A RedPlum kiosk redeems tickets from skill and zero chance games, and it's built for stores, bars and game rooms rather than a casino floor.

Which tickets can the kiosks pay out?

Tickets from every RedPlum machine. With the optional Pyramid Sentry, they also accept ticket-in, ticket-out (TITO) tickets from other machines that use Pyramid printers.

Which kiosk suits a high-volume location?

The EX450. It holds 7,200 bills across four cassettes and dispenses 4 bills a second. The E450 has the same screen, safe door and dispense speed, with 4,000 bills.

Can a kiosk keep up with a busy location?

Yes. The hardware and software are built for high transaction volumes and daily wear, so the kiosk keeps paying out through peak hours. For the busiest rooms, the EX450 holds the most cash.

Do the kiosks need an internet connection?

No. A RedPlum kiosk and cabinet work together with or without a network. With a connection, every payout also reports to RedPlum Connect. See pairing a machine to a kiosk for setup steps.

How secure are they?

Tickets are encrypted, and each one is checked before any cash comes out. The E450 and EX450 have a 5 mm safe door with an electronic lock. The F600 and F600-V lock with a safe belt and padlock.

What maintenance do they need?

Very little. Refill the cash cassettes and keep the software updated. Our guide to cash redemption kiosk maintenance covers the rest.

Do you help with installation?

Yes. Professional installation support comes with the kiosk: we set it up, connect it to your machines and existing systems, and make sure it's ready to pay out from day one.

What support do you offer after installation?

Call or email us from 9 AM to 9 PM, seven days a week. Our team can also connect remotely to sort out an issue, and regular software updates keep the kiosk current. The support page has setup guides.

Where can I put one?

Anywhere you run skill games: convenience stores, gas stations, smoke shops, liquor stores, bars, game rooms and family entertainment centers. The C200 and FD300 sit on a counter or mount on a wall. The other four stand on the floor.
